Ga jij binnenkort op stage of wil je je alvast oriënteren op een stageplek? Wil je graag weten wat je allemaal komt kijken bij het regelen van een stage? Kom dan langs bij de stagevoorlichting op maandag 18 november! De voorlichting begint in Neuron -1.350 om 19:00 uur tot ongeveer 21:00 uur. Daarna is er nog gelegenheid om vragen te stellen aan de aanwezige sprekers onder het genot van een drankje in In Vivo.

Tijdens de stagevoorlichting zal Claartje Boskman vanuit de faculteit iets vertellen over buitenlandse stages en Petri van de Vorst komt een praatje geven vanuit de ESA. Daarnaast zullen er vijf studenten die op stage zijn geweest iets vertellen over hun stage en de bijbehorende voorbereidingen.

On 11/11, the most wonderful season of the year begins: the carnival season! Naturally, the first drink of this season on 14-11 will celebrate the most magnificent festival of the year. So come in your finest carnival outfit, with your funniest accessories, and bring a good dose of local cheer to the gathering, where we will provide sausages and matching alcoholic treats. Whether you’re a seasoned carnival-goer or this is your first carnival, make sure to be there, as it will be an evening full of fun.

On Tuesday, November 12, dispuut Uisge Beatha will be hosting its well-known craft beer tasting evening! The event will start at 19:00 at ‘In Vivo’. This year, there will be a choice of a standard package, a 0.0% package, and a connoisseur package, where you and a partner will get to taste 5 beers. So, when registering, make sure to mention who your drinking buddy is! Each person will get to taste 5 half beers, allowing you to try as much as possible and/or get used to the wide variety of flavours. Also, don’t forget to specify which package you would like (you and your partner must choose the same package):

• Standard package (€7.50 per person): contains beers that are a bit more accessible in terms of flavour, such as a nice blonde, a fruity beer, or a tripel. Perfect for those looking for something familiar but still flavourful.
• 0.0% package (€7.50 per person): for those who want to forgo the alcohol, but still enjoy some good beer. From light and fruity to rich and full-bodied, this pack offers a diverse taste experience.
• Connoisseur package (€9.50 per person): this contains beers likely to appeal more to the advanced craft beer drinker. Think of an Infused, Quadruple or an Imperial Stout. A package for those who are looking to try something unique and bold.
• Gluten-free package (€9.50 per person): for those with gluten sensitivities, we’ve curated a selection of gluten-free craft beers that don’t compromise on taste. This package includes amongst others Pale Ale, brown ale and a stout.

Snacks will be served throughout the evening to ensure there’s something solid to eat too. If you would like more information about the event or the packages, feel free to ask one of our members. You can register for the standard or 0.0% package, and for the connoisseur or gluten-free package. Registration is open until 8 November.

Please note: you will be tasting in pairs, but everyone must register individually. So don’t forget to mention your drinking buddy and the same package!
