In some cases your phone will automatically connect to the network, however sometimes you will need to do it manually.

• Network: tue-wpa2
• Security: Enterprise (80x.1x)
• EAP method: PEAP
• Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
• Identity: your s-number (s0…)
• Anonymous identity: leave empty
• Password: your TU/e-password

To use the TU/e VPN on computers other than your TU laptop, you need to do the following:

For Windows 10:

• Right click on the WiFi icon in your taskbar
• Click on "Open Network & Internet Settings"
• Left in the list click on VPN
• Click on "Add a VPN connection"
• Set the following:
  • VPN provider: Windows
  • Connection name: TUE VPN
  • Server name of address: vpn-student.tue.nl
  • VPN type: IKEv2
  • Username: your s-number
  • Password: your TUE password
• Click save

It can be very useful to check your TU/e mails via Windows Mail. Here's how to do this:

• In Windows Mail, click on Settings

• Click on "Manage accounts"
• Click on "Add account"
• Click on Office 365
• Enter your TU/e mail address
• Enter your password
• Click OK
• Click Done

You can easily synchronize your email, agenda and contacts with the TU/e Exchange server.

Use the following settings:

• Connection type: Exchange-server of ActiveSync
• E-mailadres: Your TU/e e-mailadres
• URL: webmail.tue.nl
• Username: s... of TUE\s... (your s-nummer)
• Password: Your password
• Domain: tue
• SSL Connection: Checked
